2012 is an Important Year for WCLA - Choice Matters.

We turn 40, proud of our accomplishments but distraught over the never-ending battle we must wage. We were founded in May 1972, before Roe v. Wade, to protect New York's historic legislation acknowledging and defending a woman's right to control her own body, and, thus, her life. We swore then, as we have every year since, to protect and elect those pro-choice candidates and elected officials who recognize and value women's reproductive rights. Our list of successfully elected pro-choice representatives at all levels of government is legendary.
